Please refer to CMBA's website for further information on the 2020/2021 season.

We hope that everyone is looking forward to getting back to basketball as much as we are! We appreciate your patience as we learn what our options are for the fall season. We are very hopeful that basketball, in some form, will be a possibility for our kids.

Alberta government guidelines currently dictate that modifications will be likely in the upcoming season. These modifications could range from cohort play to a delayed start date. Play is also limited based on the availability of facilities. We are hoping to have more answers about play and facilities in early August. We will update the website and send out emails as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, registration will open on July 1st. This will initially be a no-fee registration to give us an idea of numbers for the fall and allow interested families on our email list to stay informed of further developments. Fees will be assessed in August once we have a better idea of what our season will look like and we will send out additional information then, when registration is finalized.

Players born between September 1 - December 31, 2002, must provide proof of full-time high school status (i.e. student timetable).

Proof of Age and Designated Age Groups

All  U11/U13/U15/HS must provide a copy of their birth certificate - may be uploaded during or after online registration (this is a one-time 2018 requirement).  A player's registration will not be accepted or considered complete until this has been received (even if payment has been made) which, after August 15, could result in being placed on a waitlist. Note that proof of age is not required for Tykes.

Note that players must register in their designated age group (no "play-ups" to older age groups or "play-downs" to younger age groups). The only permissible case of "play-ups" is that of 2nd year Midget players (born 2004) who are in high school, charter or private school;  these players must register in the Juvenile age group if they intend to try out for their high school team.

Special requests such as playing with a certain player will be made directly to your Division Coordinator once you’ve been contacted by them after Registration has closed. These requests are not handled by the Registrar.
