U11-U18 Fees

Bow River South Basketball Association Fee Information U11-U18

To ensure that your player and others are able to have the best experience we ask that your player is available to make the time commitment to his/her team. Players who consistently miss practices and/or games are detrimental to a team as a whole. Please be aware of other commitments such as homework, school sports, community sports, etc before registering your child. Consider the amount of travel time associated with weekly games and practices.

*  High School Division will have a shortened season in the fall (seeding round, 1 game per week, and playoffs) between September and mid-November in order to be finished for players to try out for their high school teams.  There will be a break from mid-November to January to allow for high school try-outs. Those high school players who are not playing high school basketball may play in the Winter season. They must register again in early December.  We will accept registrations for the winter season from players who did not play in the fall. We encourage those who have graduated from high school to play in one of the many adult leagues throughout Calgary.
Players born between September 1 - December 31, 2006, must provide proof of full-time high school status (i.e. student timetable).

All  U11/U13/U15/HS must provide a copy of their birth certificate - may be uploaded during or after online registration (this is a one-time requirement). A player's registration will not be accepted or considered complete until this has been received (even if payment has been made) which, after August 15, could result in being placed on a waitlist. Note that proof of age is not required for Tykes.

Note that players must register in their designated age group (no "play-ups" to older age groups or "play-downs" to younger age groups). The only permissible case of "play-ups" is that of 2nd year U15 players (born 2008) who are in high school, charter or private school; these players must register in the U18 age group if they intend to try out for their high school team.
